Welcome to Kids' Ministry!  At Sequoia we have developed a safe, loving, and fun environment to help our children maximize their God-given potential.  We desire to see Sequoia's kids Connect with God, Grow with Others, and Serve the World.  We see Sunday morning as an opportunity to compliment the faith and values you are establishing at home.  In order to provide safety and security for all children we require parents to escort their children to their class, sign them in, and then sign them out following the service. 

Birth – 23 months old are loved and cared for just off the main atrium next to the gym in the Library.  This room is bright and conveniently located for easy access.

2 - 3 year olds will enjoy meeting upstairs in a classroom complete with rotating stations, fun activities, music and a Bible story time.    

4– 5 year olds will also meet upstairs in their own classroom.  This group has new curriculum as well with “Take Home” sheets to share with their families.  During the week we encourage you to use these sheets to expand and emphasize what your child is learning on Sunday.

6 - 9 year olds  will experience a new “Kids’ Church”  format complete with worship, object lessons, a Bible message, games and age specific breakout discussion groups.

10 - 11 year olds will be dismissed upstairs after the initial worship set in the main gym.  They will enjoy their own Bible study and fellowship time.  

Allergies?  We will provide boxed raisins as a snack to the 2-  3 year old group and the 4 – 5 year old group.  Please DO NOT send any other snacks with your child to church.  As we desire to maximize our classroom time with our planned programs please ensure your children have gone to the bathroom before you sign them in.  This would be a huge help to our team of volunteers.
